To celebrate, Wally stopped by for lunch and even joined in on the playground fun! The kids roared loud and loved every minute of his visit.
We’re so proud of our creative Wolverine, Afton — way to show that PAWS pride! 💪🐾

A huge shoutout to the Riverton Volunteer Fire Department for visiting Willow Creek today and teaching our students all about fire safety during Fire Prevention Week! 🚒👨🚒
Our kids loved learning about what firefighters do, how to stay safe, and getting an up-close look at the fire trucks!
📦 Parents: Your child will be coming home with a fun bag donated by our wonderful Fire Department — filled with safety goodies and learning materials to help continue the conversation at home!
🔥 Community Reminder: The Riverton Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting an Open House this Wednesday at 6:00 PM! Bring the whole family for fun activities, demonstrations, and a chance to meet the firefighters who keep our community safe.
As we recognize Fire Prevention Week, don’t forget to:
✅ Check your smoke detectors and change batteries if needed.
✅ Make and practice a family escape plan.
✅ Remind kids to “Stop, Drop, and Roll” and never hide during a fire.
✅ Keep matches and lighters out of reach of children.
We are so thankful for our local heroes who serve, protect, and care for our community every day. ❤️
