This Friday, our students have earned a picnic lunch! If your child typically receives hot lunch, our cooks will provide a sack lunch that can be taken outside. If your child plans on bringing cold lunch to school this Friday, please make sure that the cold lunch does not have any items that need to be heated up. All lunch duty staff will be outside monitoring students in the picnic area, and will not have access to microwaves. Thank you!

We are absolutely speechless! Our Money Ninja challenge ended today with a "Bill Bomb" explosion that we never saw coming!
THE RESULTS:
In just ONE day, you raised $3,522.96! That brings our grand total to a staggering $6,470.51 for our new playground! Because of your incredible generosity, our students are going to have another space to play, grow, and be active!
🏆 THE GRAND CHAMPION: 🏆
Huge congratulations to Mrs. Christanson's! With a final total of $348.31, you have won the School-Wide Pizza Party, PLUS 5 Student Store tickets for every student!
🎟️GRADE LEVEL WINNERS: 🎟️
These classes fought off the "Silver Sabotage" to come out on top of their grades! Every student in these classes wins 5 Student Store tickets:
Boost K. Wiese (-$38.49)
Kindergarten Hunter ($77.21)
1st Grade Christianson ($348.31)
2nd Grade Becker ($100.71)
3rd Grade Sloan ($108.87)
4th Grade R. Wiese ($271.12)
5th Grade Ladd ($101.25)
A HEARTFELT THANK YOU
As our school continues to grow, so does our need for space! We are raising these funds for an additional playground to ensure every student has the room they need to separate, run, and play safely at recess. While this incredible week didn’t get us to the full total for the project just yet, our Parent Advisory Committee is more determined than ever to see this through to completion! This $6,400+ is a massive leap forward. In addition to these fundraisers, the PAC is working hard applying for and securing grants to help cover the remaining costs of the project.
Thank you for investing in our students' joy and our school’s future. We couldn't do this without this amazing community!

It’s Thursday, Ninjas! We have raised an incredible $2,902.20 so far! We are just $1,097.80 away from our $4,000 goal. Can we hit our goal?! The leaderboard is a total battlefield heading into the FINAL DAY!
CURRENT PIZZA LEADER: Lehman is holding the Green Spot at $33.76. It is anyone’s game! One $50 bill could change the entire school’s ranking in seconds! 🍕🎟️
THE GRADE LEVEL WAR:
These classes are currently in the lead for the 5 Student Store Tickets, but the "Silver Strikes" are making it a tight race:
K. Wiese, Hunter, Becker, Kranz, Bauman, and Ladd!
SABOTAGE WATCH: Fenton has been hit the hardest at -$284.75! Are they out, or are they waiting until the final hour to drop a "Bill Bomb" and jump to the top?
TOMORROW IS THE LAST DAY!
SAVE YOUR CLASS: Bring Pennies and Bills to get back into the positives!
SABOTAGE FOR THE WIN: Bring Silver to knock the leaders out of their spots!
Everything counts tomorrow! Let’s push for $4,000 and see who wins that Pizza Party!

🥷 MONEY NINJA WEDNESDAY: THE $1,000 DAY! 🥷
UNBELIEVABLE! Our school community raised over $1,000 in just 24 hours! Our playground fund is now at $2,230.64! Every cent means more room for our kids to play, run, and grow! But don't let the numbers fool you... the leaderboard is a total "Silver Storm" right now!
NEW LEADER IN GREEN: Lehman has officially taken the lead for the School-Wide Pizza Party + Student Store Tickets! 🍕🎟️
Current Grade Level Leaders (The Red Zone): Leading the race for those 5 Student Store tickets:
K. Wiese, Hunter, Becker, Kranz, R. Wiese and Ladd!
THE FENTON FACTOR: Fenton’s class has been hit with a massive amount of silver (now at -$229.26!), but rumor has it they have something up their sleeves... will they pull off a massive "Bill Boost" to come back from the negatives?
STRATEGY FOR THURSDAY:
RESCUE YOUR CLASS: Send in Pennies and Bills to cancel out that silver!
SABOTAGE THE LEADERS: Send in Silver to knock the top classes off their pedestals!
Only 2 days left! Who is going to make the biggest move tomorrow? 🥷💪

Things just got real! In just 24 hours, our school total soared to $1,207.04! Our playground fund is growing fast, but the leaderboard looks completely different today.
NEW FRONT-RUNNER: R. Wiese has leaped into the Green Spot with $56.23! They are currently on track for the Pizza Party AND the Student Store tickets! 🍕🎟️
The Grade Level Leaders (The Red Zone):
The race for those 5 Per Student Store tickets is tight! Currently leading their grades:
Bever, Meeks, Becker, Sloan, and Ladd!
THE SABOTAGE IS REAL: Poor Fenton took a huge "slasher hit" and dropped to -$131.48!
Remember: Pennies & Bills: Add points to your class!
Silvers (Nickels, Dimes, Quarters) : Subtract points from other classes!
Can R. Wiese hold the lead, or will a "Silver Attack" change everything by Wednesday? Check the flyer to see how your student's class is doing!

🥷 MONEY NINJA MONDAY: The Battle Begins! 🥷
The first totals are in, and the competition is heating up! We’ve already raised $271.90 toward our new playground, but the leaderboard is moving fast.
K. Wiese is currently holding the Green Spot for the GRAND CHAMPION Pizza Party with $23.00! 🍕Remember: The Grand Champion class wins the party PLUS the 5 Student Store tickets per student! It’s the ultimate win!
🎟️ Grade Level Leaders (The Red Zone): 🎟️
Right now, Jones, Meeks, Lavoie, Sloan, DeClercq, and Ladd are leading their grades for those 5 Student Store tickets!
BUT WATCH OUT: Some classes are in the negatives! Remember, pennies and bills add to your total, but silver (nickels, dimes, quarters) can "sabotage" other classes.
Check the flyer to see where your student's class stands. Can your class flip the script by tomorrow? Let’s get that playground money!

March 23–27
You may remember this fundraiser as Penny Ninja, but due to the current penny shortage, we’ve made a small name change. Don’t worry , it’s the same fun fundraiser our students love!
Here’s how the ninja battle works:
Pennies & cash = positive points for your class
Silver coins (nickels, dimes & quarters) are the slashers and subtract points from other class jars!
Start hunting for loose change now! Check:
Under couch cushions, Piggy banks, Junk drawers, and under the car seats!
All funds raised will help support our new playground!
🥷 Different name. Same great fundraiser. Let the ninja battle begin! 💰

Hello, Willow Creek Families!
A REMINDER that our school has been informed that, starting today (March 9th), the intersection of Major Ave. and Riverview Rd. will be closed for at least 6 weeks. This will affect how we do pick up duty. We have worked extensively to adapt to this closure while making as few changes as possible to our end of day dismissal,
Starting Monday March 9th: (Please refer to the attached map for color-coded flow)
1. Orange Pick Up
There will be NO CHANGES to this pick up line.
When lining up, please park as close to the Monroe sidewalk as possible because the vehicles heading to get in line for Green Pick Up will have to drive past you on Monroe Ave.
Filter through the line as usual.
Since BOTH PICK UP LINES will exit to the left (heading east) back down Monroe Ave., a staff member will help to direct traffic. Please watch closely, and follow their signals.
2. Green Pick Up
Drive down Monroe Ave (heading west) past the school and pull into the new Linden-Gard soccer field complex. Turn around in that parking lot and enter the Green Pick Up line like usual.
After the buses leave, you will pull into the teacher parking lot, but instead of hugging the curb on the right, you will stay to the left and pull in the opposite direction. Since you have to exit left after picking up your child(ren), this will alleviate a "bottleneck" that would happen with cars pulling into the teacher parking lot while other cars are trying to exit and head east. A staff member will be on hand to guide you to stay to the left as you pull in.
Since BOTH PICK UP LINES will exit to the left (heading east) back down Monroe Ave., a staff member will help to direct traffic. Please watch closely, and follow their signals.
THANK YOU for helping us to adjust to this change. We know it is not ideal to have all dismissal traffic flow one way down Monroe Ave. We greatly appreciate your patience and support in adjusting to construction demands while keeping our students safe. This week, we plan to dismiss students at 3:05. This will give us a bit of extra time to adjust to these new changes.

Thank you to all the families who supported our Kids Heart Challenge! Together, we made healthy choices, practiced kindness, learned lifesaving skills and about heart health, and supported children with special hearts through donations to the American Heart Association.
A huge thank-you to our parents, guardians, and most importantly, our Willow Creek students for helping raise $9,743.34! Our school goal was $8,500, and we are so proud of what our Wolves accomplished together.
Parents, you may have questions about prizes. At this time, Miss Cree has most of the dog keychains and mystery gifts. Items such as t-shirts, playground balls, and other prizes will be ordered once the district office processes our cash donations into a check and Miss Cree mails it in.
We usually receive the remaining prizes in April, and they will be distributed as soon as they arrive.
Thank you again for supporting this important cause and helping make our Kids Heart Challenge such a success!
