Please join us on Tuesday, December 9th from 3:30–4:30 PM for this helpful and encouraging opportunity!

Willow Creek Families,
Welcome back! We hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving break with your families.
Our December Newsletter is available and filled with important dates, upcoming events, and reminders to help you and your student finish 2025 strong. Please take a moment to read through it:
👉 December Newsletter: https://secure.smore.com/n/xv0p1
As always, thank you for your continued support of Willow Creek and our PAWS learners!
Warmly,
Willow Creek Elementary

Our Santa posters are up and ready - every donated pantry item lets students add a cotton ball to Santa’s beard. Let’s fluff those whiskers and fill pantries!
How it works: Send non-expired, unopened shelf-stable items with your child.
1 item = 1 cotton ball on the class Santa beard.
What to send (ideas)
Canned beans/veggies/fruit, soups/chili, pasta/rice, mac & cheese, peanut butter, pasta sauce, broth, cereal/oatmeal.
We’ll run for the next two weeks leading up to winter break. Thank you for helping our Wolves PAWS for kindness! 🐺🎅

School will be closed Monday, 11/24 through Friday, 11/28.
Enjoy the time with your families, and we’ll see our Wolves back on Monday, 12/1!

🚧 Traffic Alert – Riverview Construction
Please be aware that construction on Riverview Road is causing significant traffic changes near Willow Creek.
If you use Orange Pick-Up(front of building), please plan ahead and allow a few extra minutes during afternoon dismissal.
➡️ You will not be able to turn left coming down off Major Hill due to the construction.
➡️ To avoid congestion, we strongly recommend coming up Monroe Avenue to access Orange Pick-Up instead of using Majors.
➡️ Spire Drive remains open, so another good option is to head west on Riverview and turn south down Spire Drive to reach Monroe and the school.
For Green Pick-Up(side of building), please remember that the line forms along Majors Avenue as usual—just expect slower movement with the construction traffic nearby.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we navigate these changes together!

To celebrate, Wally stopped by for lunch and even joined in on the playground fun! The kids roared loud and loved every minute of his visit.
We’re so proud of our creative Wolverine, Afton — way to show that PAWS pride! 💪🐾
