Wolves in Action Kindness Day was held on February 13th, and there are truly no words big enough to capture what our Wolves accomplished. It was unmatched. It was wonderful. And it absolutely brought tears to people’s eyes.
This day is a core part of how we teach our Wolves to be members of a respectful, caring community and to understand the real impact they have when they choose kindness. That impact could be felt everywhere, even in the hallways afterward, as we heard people saying, “I loved that.”
This marked the 8th year our Willow Creek Wolves have completed this community service project, and this year was nothing short of incredible. Our students spread kindness across 17 different locations, both on and off campus, touching so many lives in meaningful ways.
Some of the ways our Wolves showed up:
💜 Singing and creating art with the elderly at Homestead Assisted Living
💜 Organizing and cleaning items at the CATS Museum
💜 Helping organize donations at Neat Repeat
💜 Reading to animals at PAWS
💜 Participating in physical activities with residents at Wind River Rehab
💜 Visiting St. Margaret’s to read to preschool and kindergarten students and decorate cookies
💜 Creating posters and pom-poms to cheer on our Special Olympics athletes for their April meet
💜 Washing police cars at our local police department
💜 Washing fire trucks at the fire department
💜 Assembling goodie bags to thank all of our local emergency crews for the work they do every day
This incredible day would not have been possible without Miss Cree, who puts countless hours, heart, and intention into planning this experience for our students and our community. We cannot thank her enough for the love and dedication she pours into this day.
Our Wolves didn’t just learn about kindness, they lived it. We are beyond proud of you, Wolves. If you would like to see all of the photos taken please take a look at our Facebook page!

🚧 Traffic Alert – Riverview Construction
Traffic Delays may be experienced this week on Riverview Road as the contractor begins additional waterline work that can be completed with the warmer weather. Traffic may be delayed or even detoured as work is completed between Rein Road (West) and Spire Drive (East). Drivers are encouraged to use West Main Street to the best extent possible to prevent any delays in this area.
If you use Orange Pick-Up (front of building), please plan ahead and allow a few extra minutes during morning and afternoon dismissal.
➡️ To avoid congestion, we strongly recommend coming up Monroe Avenue to access Orange Pick-Up instead of using Majors.
➡️ Spire Drive remains open, so another good option is to head west on Riverview and turn south down Spire Drive to reach Monroe and the school.
For Green Pick-Up (side of building), please remember that the line forms along Majors Avenue as usual—just expect slower movement with the construction traffic nearby.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we navigate these changes together!

Did you know today is Law Enforcement Appreciation Day? From every classroom, hallway, and office at Willow Creek, we want to give a heartfelt and detailed THANK YOU to our School Resource Officers, Officer Larsen and Officer Amos. 💙
Your dedication goes far beyond keeping our campus safe. You arrive ready to listen, to guide, and to build trust with our students. Whether you’re mentoring a student who needs encouragement, leading safety lessons in the classroom, responding calmly in difficult moments, your presence creates a safer, kinder, and more confident school community.
To Officer Larsen: thank you for your steady leadership, for taking the time to connect with students one-on-one, and for the thoughtful way you help teach safety and responsibility to students and staff.
To Officer Amos: thank you for your warm approach, for mentoring through example, and for being someone students and staff know they can rely on.
We appreciate the countless small acts, the conversations in the hallway, the schoolwide safety preparations, the community events you support, and the way you model respect and integrity every single day. Your work helps students feel secure enough to learn and grow.
Today we also celebrate and extend our gratitude to all law enforcement officers who serve our communities; thank you for your service, sacrifice, and commitment to public safety everywhere.

🛒 Local stores collecting cans and goods
🎒 Parents sending extra items from home
